An Island of Tranquility in a Hectic World

About Me

Employing the modalities of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Cupping, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Sports  and Oncology massage, I customize the massage to the needs of each patient, listening carefully to their concerns and symptoms.

One of my specialties is massage for current cancer patients and those recovering from cancer. I have been trained in oncology massage by a leading authority in the field, Tracy Walton. Attuned to the special needs of cancer patients, my greatest joy is alleviating some of the symptoms and side effects associated with cancer treatment through massage.

Additionally, massage for seniors is a special interest of mine. Volunteering at a local assisted living community, I relish my  time with the elders there and learned the important role compassionate touch and attentive listening can play in the emotional and physical health of the older population.

I also provide massage to hospice patients and their caregivers, feeling privileged to be part of the final journey of these patients.

I graduated at the top of the class from the prestigious Bancroft School of Massage. The American Massage Therapy Association honored me with a scholarship during my massage education. I am also a cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

As a 3rd degree black belt, I enjoyed teaching karate to adults and children including those with special needs.
